Donut Magnet Set
You will receive a SET of SIX magnets:
- Donut set , 6 pieces (plain, chocolate dip, sprinkle, honey crueller, boston cream)
These handmade stoneware ceramic magnets were created using a recycled white clay. I hand sculpt each piece, then hand paint them with underglaze before firing in the kiln. I then finish by dipping them in a clear coat of glaze and then they are put through their final firing.
They have been attached to strong rare earth magnets (1/4” diameter) with epoxy glue. Nothing bothers me more than a weak magnet, these are strong! Some of the magnets may sit at a bit of an angle, which makes the piece sit at an angle. Comes in a tin box.
Sizes range from 1.5cm to 4.5 cm approximately (length/diameters)
From the manufacturer of the magnets:
"The strength of these magnets has to do with the electron array in the neodymium, the rare earth they are made from. This force only increases with the magnet’s size. The 1/4" diameter by 1/10" thick magnet will lift a 2 1/2 lb block of steel"
***As is common in pottery, there are occasional flaws on pieces. I like to view it as "perfectly imperfect" :). They may have quirks such as glazing pinholes, trapped bubbles, slight unevenness or may not be entirely flat or slightly curved which makes them beautifully unique and handmade. Pay close attention to photos for details! For these magnets, the clear glaze bubbled which does not effect the use of the piece.
